Cost and Duration

Applying for Dominica citizenship and passport has two classes. Single Class or Family Class. Gender is indifferent for both classes.

 

Please note that all of the following costs are all inclusive and are total payable amounts from start to end of the entire process (for normal process of an ordinary applicant) and there are no other charges applicable.
Costs of the medical tests, postal fees to return documents and costs your travels is payable by you.

 

Individual (Single) Class
USD 150,000 Donation
This includes administration and professional fees and it is inclusive of other fees.
The amount of USD 25,000 is payable in advance, USD 25,000 after two months -both non-refundable- and the rest, equal to USD 100,000 when the results of your due-diligence check have come back, payable into the Government Escrow account.

Family Class
Family means main applicant, the spouse and a maximum of two (2) children under the age of 18. If you have more children or their ages are between 18 to 21, then read below notes.
USD 250,000 Donation

This includes administration and professional fees and it is inclusive of other fees.
The amount of USD 25,000 is payable in advance, USD 25,000 after two months and the rest, equal to USD 200,000 when the results of your due-diligence check have come back, payable into the Government Escrow account.

If you have children within the age range of 18 up to 21
Either additional fees applies in accordance to the situation, or they need to apply individually- Please contact for detail
If you have more than two children under 18
Additional USD 50,000 per child

Entire Process Time (for both single and family classes)
Normal Process Time- From 12 to 18 months

The required duration is varied based on the applicant’s present citizenship, country of residence, and number of pending applications. Normally, it is taking anywhere between 4 to 12 months to get your Certificate of Citizenship and your passport.

Premium (Urgent) Process Time - About 7 months

Occasionally, it is possible to process your application on urgent basis, in which the entire processing time will be reduced down to seven months.
 
There is 25% extra charges applicable on the top of the total amount that is required in normal processing condition.
 
If you need your passport quicker than normal, you need to contact Dominica 1st to find out if we can take your Urgent Process request. It is Dominica 1st's discreet decision weather to take the request or not.

Kindly note that your delay on providing required documents or payments, would directly affect the duration.

 

Important Note:
* On very unlikely events, and based on your personal circumstances, it is possible for the due-diligence committee to go through extra investigations, which may incur more charges. On these rare occasions, your officer will directly forward you these extra charges and you will bear them.
* One time travel to your interview location is required for the main applicant. The cost of this trip is not included in the above tables.
* Do not apply now, if you do not have financial resources readily available to you. Any application would be processed ONLY ONCE. If an applicant does not keep on the application, it will be automatically cancelled and his/her further applications will be ignored. The management may restore a closed application, which an applicant may bear its cost.
